August 13, 5:44 pm: Beverly Y. Dorris, 57, of Beverly Hills, FL, was arrested at her residence by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office on 3 Marion Couny, FL warrants for violation of probation, one for an original charge of writing a worthless check, and two for battery of an emergency medical services provider, with her bond set at none on all three warrants.
August 13, 5:55 pm: Gordon Daniel Kujava (SEE PHOTO), 49, of Inglis, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with domestic battery (no bond).
August 13, 2:00 pm: Johny Ramon Lopez, 37, of Inverness, FL, was arrested during a traffic stop on Bell Ave. in Inverness by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, when a deputy, who was aware that Mr. Lopez's driver's license had been suspended, saw him backing a vehicle out of a driveway and recognized him. Lopez, the only person inside the vehicle, told the officer he was heading out to take the car for repairs. He was charged with driving while license knowingly suspended or revoked ($500 bond)
August 13, 8:10 pm: Kristina Marie Petralia, 32, of Homosassa, FL, who was already incarcerated at the Citrus County Detention Facility, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office on a Citrus County warrant for failure to appear in court on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance (no bond).
Augaust 13, 11:45 am: Michele Lynn Smith, 29, of Beverly Hills, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, on two warrants for failure to appeara in court on misdemeanor charges ($1,500 bond).
August 13, 10:24 pm: Ashley Marie Tanguay, 28, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with retail petit theft of $100 or less ($500 bond). The arrest report stated that Ms. Tanguay, an employee at the Inverness Walmart store, is accused of shoplifting a total of $62.81 in merchandise during her shift at the store during the past several weeks. The report stated that she declined to speak with the arresting deputy.
August 13, 9:46 am: Nicole Leigh Wellman, 42, of Crystal River, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with retail petit theft of more than $100, but less than $750 ($1,000 bond). Ms. Wellman is accused of taking items from the Crystal River, FL Publix supermarket and leaving the store withou paying for the items, which were concealed inside her backpack and purse. The items included two bottles of wine, and other unspecified food and miscellaneous items. She was located a short time after the incident, walking east on Highway 44 (W. Gulf to Lake Hwy.) with a dog who was also with her inside the store. The report stated, that when Ms. Wellman bent over to tie her shoe, the deputy could see the wine bottles sticking out of her backpack. The store provided the deputy with video surveillance of the theft. The report stated that Ms. Wellman has no previous criminal history.
