Edward Earl Alred, 40, of Spring Hill, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland (Florida) Police Department, July 7, charged with failing to return driver's license or registration upon cancellation of insurance ($10,000 bond).

John Colton Barley, 25, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol, July 4, charged with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol or drugs, and DUI with damage to property ($35,000 bond). He was also charged with probation violation (no bond). 

Bradley Ronald Brower, 23, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 3, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, firing or throwing a missile into a dwelling, vehicle, building or aircraft; and criminal mischief with damage to property of $1,000 or more ($85,000 bond).

Gary Bernard Calhoun, 44, of Gainesville, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 7, charged with
grand theft of $300 or more but less than $5,000 ($40,000 bond).

Thomas Samuel Cocks, 37, at large in an unstated location within Florida, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 6, charged with second degee petit theft, first offense ($2,500 bond).

John Howard Cowles, 42, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 7, charged with unarmed burglary of an unoccupied structure ($50,000 bond).

Robert Leon Dees, 55, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol, July 4, charged with having an expired motor vehicle registration for longer than six months, a repeat offense; and driving while license suspended, a repeat offense ($7,500 bond). He was also charged with withholding support of children or spouse ($200 cash only bond).

Westley Alan Fisher, 42, of Newberry, FL, was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol, July 4, charged with driving while license suspended, a repeat offense ($35,000 bond).

Johnny Ray Futch, Jr., 49, of Trenton, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 7, charged with driving while license suspended, a repeat offense ($25,000 bond).

Julio Esteban Gonzalez Alvarez, 37, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland Police Department, July 5, charged with operating a motor vehicle without a valid license ($500 bond).

Chase Eugene Gosford, 19, of Ocala, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 7, charged with failing to stop or remain at a crash involving injury; and destroying, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence ($30,000 bond).

UPDATE:  Kristine Lynn Hess, 39, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 8, charged with three county of criminal mischief with damage to property: (1) $200 or less, (2) $200 or more but less than $1,000, and (3) $1,000 or more. Her bond was set at $10,000.
        Hess is accused of placing graffiti, some in spray paint and others in permanent marker. to several locations within Inglis and Yankeetown, Florida, most saying "James Edwards," the name of a deceased man Hess had a long term relationship with. Grafitti at the Yankeetown boat ramp area, written in permanent marker on the pavilion and a picnic table, states how much Edwards is missed and loved.
        Hess told deputies that she'd placed graffiti at 8 different areas on roadways or sidewalks that stated "James Edwards" or "James Edwards JE KH," because she wanted Edwards' memory to live on, but she denied placing the graffiti on the Yankeetown pavilion and picnic table, stating that it could have been written by another person, whom she named.
        Estimated damages total $3,100: $100 to Power Pole #027932 (owned by Central Florida Electric Cooperative); $1,000 to the Yankeeetown boat ramp pavilion and picnic table (owned by Levy County Parks and Recreation); and $2,000 to roadways and sidewalks (owned by the city of Inglis and Levy County).

Ashley Hilburn, 42, of Inglis, FL, was held for court, July 7, at the Levy County Detention Bureau. 

Joseph Robert Jones, 36, of Crawfordville, FL, was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol, July 9, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (no bond).

Jesse Robert L'hommedieu, 40, of Trenton, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland (Florida) Police Department, July 4, charged with criminal mischief with damage to property of $1,000 or more, and unarmed burglary of an unoccupied dwelling ($65,000 bond).

Luis Omar Lopez, 43, of Trenton, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 8, charged with driving while license suspended, second offense; possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of drug equipment ($20,000 bond).

John Moore, 35, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland Police Department, July 8, charged with criminal mischief with damage to public phone property - cables, fixtures or equipment, etc.; unarmed burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, and grand theft of $5,000 or more but less than $10,000 ($85,000 bond).

Raciel Perez De La Cruz, 31, of Cardenas, TX, was arrested by an unspecified agency, July 9, and booked into the Levy County Detention Bureau, charged with operating a motor vehicle without a valid license (no bond).

Samuel Perryman, 52, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 5, charged with probation violation (no bond). 

UPDATE:  Three people were arested by the Levy County  Sheriff's Office, July 7, as the result of a traffic stop of a tan, 4-door Lexus sedan at the Marathon gas station, located at 135 N. Hathaway Ave., in Bronson, Florida, due to the vehicle's tag being expired since 2021. The arrestees were Samantha Smith, 36, of Dunnellon, FL; Alan Joseph Dones, 47, of Davie, FL; and Jeanette Lynn Sims, 43, of Gainesville, FL.
        The driver, Jeanette Lynn Sims, exited the vehicle and began running, but was overtaken by a deputy and placed into handcuffs. Dones told the deputy, that while the deputy was chasing Sims, he'd seen the front seat passenger (Samantha Smith) shoving items behind her seat. Smith told the deputy that the item in question was a methamphetamine smoking pipe. Due to Smith's admission, the vehicle was searched.
        Inside the vehicle, deputies located a pink zippered bag containing plastic baggies with a white powdery substance and straws that had been cut, a small smoking pipe and pieces of tin foil used for smoking drugs, a clear zippered bag that contained smoking pipe and pieces of burnt foil, a spoon with a powdery residue, and a syringe with a needle that was loaded with a brownish colored liquid; a black and white zippered bag that contained several bags - one with a white powdery substance consistent with fentanyl, one with large white chunks of a white powdery substance consistent with fentanyl, a crystalline substance consistent with methamphetamine, and a green leafy substance consistent with marijuana.
        Dones told deputies that Smith is his girlfriend, that he is on felony probation, and Smith was taking him to his probation appointment. He said, that when the deputy was walking toward the car, Sims said "bond me out," and then took off running, and while the deputy was chasing Sims, Smith handed items to him and he shoved them under the seat. He said that the black bag belonged to Smith, and he knew, for sure, that it contained fentanyl, but he didn't know what else was inside the bag.
        Samantha Smith refused to speak with deputies, other than stating that the only thing she'd handed to Dones was the clear sparkly bag that contained the smoking pipe. She was charged with trafficking in 4 grams or more but less than 30 kilograms of opium or an opium derivative, trafficking in 14 grams or more of methamphetamine, and possession of drug equipment ($210,000 bond).
        Alan Joseph Dones, was charged with trafficking in 4 grams or more but less than 30 kilograms of opium or an opium derivative, and possession of drug equipment ($55,000 bond). He was also charged with probation violation (no bond).
        Jeanette Lynn Sims, was charged with failing to register a motor vehicle, driving while license knowingly suspended, resisting or obstructing an officer without violence, failure to appear in court, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of drug equipment; and destroying, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence ($65,000 bond).

Richard Dean Vanarsdale, 24, of Punta Gorda, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland (Florida) Police Department, July 5, charged with resisting an officer with violence, and disturbing the peace, with his bonds set at release on his own recognizance.

Tony Jerome Whittle, 63, of Fanning Springs, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 8, on an out of county warrant (no bond).
