August 12, 2:57 am: Two people (SEE PHOTOS), both said to be homeless in the Homosassa, FL area, were arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office during a traffic stop on S. Suncoast Blvd. at S. Oakridge Dr. in Homosassa, due to the vehicle failing to maintain a single lane. •Sierra Jo Wilkerson, 25, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, resisting an officer without violence, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($4,000 bond). Ms. Wilkerson, a back seat passenger, is accused of aproaching deputies several times while they were searching the vehicle, interfering with the search. She was found to be in possession of 0.8 gram of methamphetamine and an injection needle with methamphetamine residue. •Joshawa Cameron Colvin, 18, the driver, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, and 4 counts of possession of a controlled substance ($8,500 bond). Mr. Colvin was found to be in possession of 1 oxycodone 10 mg tablet, 1 alprazolam 0.25 mg tablet, 0.6 gram of methamphetamine, 7 amphetamine/dextroamphetamine 30 mg pills, and brass knuckles.


August 12, 2:07 am: Noah Keith Bevins, 39, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office at a home in the 2000 block of Reagen St. West, in Inverness, on a Gilchrist County warrant for violation of misdemeanor probation on an original charge of having no valid driver's license (no bond).


August 12, 12:42 am: Richard Colin Connolly, 55, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office charged with possession of a controlled substance ($2,000 bond). The arrest occurred during a trafffic stop on W. Gulf to Lake Hwy (SR 44) at W. Meadowcrest Blvd. in Crystal River, FL, due to the vehicle and its trailer each having an expired tag. Mr. Connolly, the front seat passenger, was found to be in possession of 1.5 grams of methamphetamine.


August 12, 3:24 pm: Donna Marie Fonseca, 29, of Crystal River, FL, was detained by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with retail petit theft of $100 or less.


August 12, 3:03 pm: Jadon Tyree Hubbard, 19, of Ocala, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with grand theft of $750 or more, but less than $5,000. While checking checking himself our in the self checkout area of the Lecanto Walmart store, Mr. Hubbard is accused of scanning and paying for only 2 items with a combined value of $46.95, but not scanning or paying for 83 other items with a combined value of $802.48 that he placed into shopping bags and back into his shopping cart. Mr. Hubbard was detained by a deputy and a store employee as he was exiting the store with the items he'd not paid for. 


August 12, 3:24 pm: Faith Elise Michaelson, 40, of Crystal River, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with felony retail theft, second offense or with another subject ($2,000 bond).

 
August 12, 2:40 pm: Bruce John Nisiewicz, 66, of Beverly Hills, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with petit theft with a previous theft conviction ($1,000 bond). Mr. Nisiewicz, while checking himself out at the Lecanto Walmart store's self checkout area, is accused of not scanning or paying for 4 items in his shopping cart: cat treats, cat litter, a package of Hostess Twinkies, and Friskies cat food. The report claimed that Nisiewicz pretended to scan three of the items, then placed them back into the shopping cart. When he passed all poins of sale, he was detained. The report stated that Mr. Nisiewicz said he was hard of hearing and could not hear if the scanner beeped, and also that his vision is poor, and he could not see if he'd paid for the items in his cart. The report stated it was suggested to Mr. Nisiewicz that he should use a manned cashier next time he shopped.
