August 6, 10:00 am: Scott Walter Arnhold, 62, of Inverness, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with battery ($1,000 bond). The arrest report stated that a male witness dropped off the victim at Mr. Arnhold's house, around 6:30 pm, to spend the night as a border. The victim claimed that Mr. Arnold walked around his house naked, and touched her in an inappropriate manner, so she went to female neighbor's house, where she spent the rest of the night. The female neighbor told deputies that Mr. Arnhold has made sexual advances toward her, as well, when he's come to her house to provide her with transportation. The male witness said, about 10:30 pm, the victim left him a voicemail, which the deputy listened to. The deputy reported, that in the voicelmail, the victim sounded as though she were crying and hysterical. Mr. Arnhold told deputies that he'd walked around his house naked, as he always does, and he'd touched the victim's pocket, where she had a pack of cigarattes, while commenting she should remove them to prevent the cigarettes from breaking. He said the victim then left his home, upset, claiming he'd molested her, and he'd told her to shut up.
August 6, 2:19 pm: Gerald Robert Deam, Jr., 41, of Crystal River, FL, was arrested at his residence by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office on a Citrus County warrant for violation of probation on an original charge of possession of methamphetamine (no bond).
August 6, 5:40 pm: Tammy Sue McCown, 58, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with trespassing ($1,000 bond). The arrest report stated that Ms. McCown, against medical advice, had signed herself out of Citrus Memorial Hospital, located at 502 W. Highland St. in Inverness, and was smoking in front of the Emergency Rooms doors. The report stated that Ms. McCown refused to leave the area, and hopital administration had contacted the sheriff's office. When Ms. McCown allegedly refused deputies of, "every availability to leave," according to the arrest report, she was placed under arrest.
August 6, 10:57 am: Linda Ann Mushlit, 65, of Lecanto, FL, was arrested at her residence by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office on a Citrus County warrant for battery ($1,000 bond).
August 6, 10:16 pm: Dalton Brian Sherouse, 20, of Inverness, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with retail petit theft of more than $100, but less than $750 ($500 bond). A loss prevention officer at the Inverness Walmart store told a deputy, that over a period of several weeks, Mr. Sherouse had been taking items from the store without paying for them. Items totaled $204.29, and included antifreeze, a torch and food. The store officer submitted video surveillance as proof of his allegation against Mr. Sherouse. The arrest report stated that Mr. Sherouse admitted to the deputy that he'd taken the items, explaining that he was going through a difficult time.
August 6, 8:19 am: Dakota Ray Tillman, 24, at large in the Homosassa, FL area, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with trespassing after warning ($1,000 bond). The arrest report stated that Mr. Tillman had been trespassed from the Homosassa RaceTrac gas station on June 7, 2020, and returned to the gas station on August 6. The deputy arrived to find Mr. Tillam inside the store, standing near the checkout area. The employee who made the complaint told the deputy that he wanted Mr. Tillman trespassed from the store because he has previously caused issues at the store.
Aguust 6, 7:04 pm: Caitlyn Elizabeth Wildhagen, 23, of Coral Gables, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with possession of a controlled substance, and obtaining a controlled substance by fraud or deception ($4,000 bond).
