Levy County Sheriff asks for assistance in solving cold case homicide

On July 5, 2014, Leo Rives, 31, was found deceased at his 3571 NE 218th Ave., Williston residence, lying next to his vehicle, riddled with gunshot wounds.
At the sixth-year anniversary of this unsolved murder case, the Levy County Sheriff’s Office is asking that anyone with information regarding this case to please come forward.
Information regarding Leo's killing continues to trickle in, and progress is being made. Detectives have reason to believe this was a coordinated, organized murder, which potentially involved multiple individuals. They're convinced that individuals within the community have important information that can help bring this case to justice and provide closure to Leo’s children and other family.
Crime Stoppers of Levy County has authorized a cash reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of anyone involved in Leo Rives’ murder.
