July 26th


July 26, 4:09 pm: Felicia Alece Arancibia, 33, of Inverness, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with driving under the influence, and driving under the influence with property damage ($2,000 bond).


July 26, 9:16 am: Kevin August Kasten, 46, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with domestic battery, and violation of conditions of pre-trial release (no bond), a warrant for trafficking in methamphetamine ($25,000 bond), and failing to register as a felon within 48 hours of a felony conviction in Florida ($500 bond).


July 26, 6:03 pm: Eugene Perry McCaleb, 51, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with battery ($1,000 bond).


July 26, 4:10 am: John Allan Pace, 57, of Inverness, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, on a Sumter County warrant for exposure of sexual organs (no bond).


July 26, 5:38 am: Cody Matthew Regan, 26, of Crystal River, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with domestic battery (no bond).    


July 26, 1:30 am: Jason Jay Riley, 41, of Crystal River, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office during a traffic stop on S. Suncoast Blvd., at the intersection of W. Grover Cleeland Blvd. in Homosassa, due to his vehicle having no right brake light and a homemade light obscuring the vehicle's tag. During the traffic stop, Mr. Riley was found to be in possession of 0.4 gram of methamphetamine. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and driving while license knowingly suspended ($2,500 bond). 


July 26, 7:31: Stephen Doran Shumway, 26, of Hernando, FL, was arrested at his residence by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office on a Citrus County warrant for driving while license knowingly suspended or revoked, second offense; and fleeing from a law enforcement officer in pursuit in a marked vehicle with activated lights and sirens ($3,000 bond).


July 25th


July 25, 1:46 pm: John Daniel Fox, Jr., 39, of Homosassa, was arrested in Pasco County on a Citrus Count warrant for obtaining property by means of a worthless check. On July 25, he also paid his bond of $1,000 in Pasco County.


July 25, 10:58 am: Raymond James Kissel, 36, of Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with child neglect without great bodily harm by willful or culpable negligence ($5,000 bond).


July 25, 8:58 pm: Daniel Robert Parker, 32, of Dunnellon, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with felony petit theft (due to three previous theft convictions); $2,000 bond. Mr Parker is acccused of concealing a flashlight valued at $19.88 on his person at the Inverness Walmart store and leaving the store without paying for it in a gold two-door Chevrolet vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle, a short time later, and Mr. Parker was arrested. The flashlight was inside the vehicle, according to the arrest report, which also stated that Mr. Parker had been convicted of petit theft in 2007, grand theft in 2008, and petit theft on Jan. 27, 2020.


July 25, 10:01 am: Patrick Nicholas Waybright, 39, of Dunnellon, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, possession of burglary tools, burglary of an occupied residence, and burglary of an unoccupied conveyance ($24,000 bond).
