Roadway advisory due to fire: SR 121 / CR 337 in SW Levy Couty

At 5:00 pm, Tuesday, June 30, the Florida Highway Patrol was informed by the Florida Forestry Service of a 20 to 30-acre fire in the area of SR 121 and CR 337 in southwest Levy County, FL. Due to the topography of the immediate area, the Florida Forestry Service was having a difficult time extinguishing the fire, and there was potential for the fire to grow in size during the night. Motorists were urged to use caution, reduce their speed and use their low beam headlights to increase visibility.
