UPDATED: Eugenia Cabrera, 58, of Miami Gardens, FL, was charged with aggravated battery - intentionally causing great bodily harm ($10,000 bond). Citrus County Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched to Stixx Billards, located at 3285 S. Suncoast Blvd., in Homosassa, FL, due to the report of a physical disturbance. According to the victim and a witness, an employee was cleaning the outside area of the bar, holding a bottle of bleach in her hand, when Ms. Cabrera sat down on a bench. The report stated that Ms. Cabrera told the employee that she didn't want anything to eat or drink, so the employee asked her to leave the business, which angered Ms. Cabrera, who grabbed the bottle of bleach from the employee, opened it and threw the bleach onto the victim's face, causing injury to her eyes. The victim wrestled Ms. Cabrera to the ground and got on top of her, and a deputy arrived on scene to witness Ms. Cabrera biting the victim's left ribcage area, leaving upper and lower teeth marks. Emergency medical services arrived on scene to provide assistance to the victim.

UPDATED: Ross Zackary Dobrin, 22, of Floral City, FL, was charged with eight counts of trafficking or endeavoring to traffic in stolen property ($40,000 bond), five counts of retail petit theft of more than $100 but less than $750 ($2,500 bond), and two counts of retail petit theft of $100 or less ($1,000 bond). Mr. Dobrin is accused of stealing items on several occasions from the Inverness, FL Walmart store and later returning the items to obtain credit on a store gift card. The incidents were captured on the store's surveillance video.

UPDATED: Ryan John Barile, 40, of Inverness, FL, was charged with giving a false report of a crime to a law enforcement officer ($1,000 bond). The arrest report stated that deputies with the Citrus County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) had contacted Mr. Barile at a S. Columbus St., Beverly Hills, FL residence due to a "suspicious vehicle," and Mr. Barile, the registered owner of a black Nissan Pathfinder sport utility vehicle (SUV), told a deputy that he'd been contacted by the CCSO in reference to the vehicle, which had been stolen. He said he'd last seen the vehicle on April 23, 2022, parked in his back yard. Mr. Barile gave deputies the name of a man he said he believed had stolen his vehicle, because the man had access to the vehicle, several months previously. Deputies contacted the man Barile had listed as the vehicle theft suspect at the Citrus County Detention Facility, where he was an inmate. The report stated that the suspect had been involved in "multiple traffic stops" in Citrus County while driving the Nissan Pathfinder during the past six weeks. The suspect told deputies that he'd made a civil arrangement with Mr. Barile to purchase the vehicle, which has been in his possession since October, 2021, and he told deputies he had receipts in the glove box of the vehicle for the monthly payments he'd been making to Mr. Barile. Deputies also obtained eight receipts from a relative of Mr. Barile that confirmed the suspect had indeed been making the payments for the purchase of the Nisssan Pathfinder SUV.
