According to the arrest report, shortly before 10:30 am, two deputies were dispatched to the Inglis Superstop/Shell convenience store/gas station, located at 19 U.S. Hwy. 19 South in Inglis, FL, due to the report of a possible burglary in progress. The victim told deputies that a man had stolen approximately $450 from the center console of his sports utility vehicle (SUV). The victim described the male suspect, who had fled on foot, heading east from the area, and he also identified the other male who had possibly been involved in the burglary. About a mile and a half from the gas station, on Hwy. 40 East at Park St. (Inglis, FL), deputies located Mr. Orr, who matched the description of the suspect. Orr told deputies that he and a friend had gone out drinking the previous night, and they were on their way to a friend's house when they decided to stop to purchase gas for the car he was driving and to also ask for directions. After getting the directions, Orr told deputies, he got into the wrong vehicle (the SUV instead of the car) by mistake, and while he was getting money from the center console, the victim and a witness confronted him. He said they yelled at him and threatened to shoot him, so he ran off, in fear for his life. Orr was in possession of approximately $203 he said he'd gotten from the center console of the victim's SUV. The report stated that Orr, who's on probation from Marion County, FL for burglary of a conveyance (vehicle) and possession of more than 20 grams of cannabis, was driving a newer model white Toyota four-door passenger car, that he allegedly got confused with the victim's older model tan Chevrolet Tahoe SUV that had a lifted suspension and large, aftermarket rims.
