Ernest Corey Grimaldi, 36, of Brooksville, FL, was arrested on major drug charges during a traffic stop on US 19 at W. Yuklee Dr. in Homosassa, FL, that was conducted due to an expired tag registration. His passenger, Danielle Marie Turney, 36, of Inverness, FL was arrested on a Pasco County warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license ($513 bond). A press release stated that Grimaldi was the driver, and his driver's license had been suspended. During a search of his vehicle, deputies located 139 oxycodone 10 mg. pills, 124 oxycodone 30 mg. pills, 88 hydromorphone 8 mg. pills, 97 alprazolam 2 mg. pills, 1 bottle of testosterone cypionate, 0.1 gram of fentanyl, and $1,400 in cash. He was charged with trafficking in greaster than 28 grams of oxycodone, trafficking in greater than 4 grams of oxycodone, trafficking in greater than 4 grams of hydromorphone, possession of alprazolam with intent to sell, possession of a fentanyl, possession of a testosterone cypionate, possession of drug paraphernalia ($87,000 combined bond); and felony driving while license suspended, third offense (unstated bond). The following day, Grimaldi was additionally charged with aggravated battery ($5,000 bond).
