Levy County man arrested on child pornography charges

Levy County, Florida - On March 1, 2022 detectives with the Levy County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) received a complaint by a woman that she recently ended a relationship with 36 year-old Jon B. Flores, who lives in Trenton (Levy County), Florida, and when she was at his home the previous week, she suspected that he was communicating with other women, so she looked at his phone and discovered pictures on his phone that apeared to be of minor female children in various stages of undress.
Detectives gathered evidence and applied for a search warrant for Flores’s home. The warrant was granted and executed on March 2, 2022. Detectives located Mr. Flores and seized numerous electronic devices. These devices contained images of prepubescent children in sexual poses, along with evidence that Flores had transmitted these images to other people. Flores admitted to detectives that he took some of the photographs found on his phone.
Flores was placed under arrest, charged with possession of child pornography and transmission of child pornography, with his bond set at $1.5 million. He was incarcerated at the Levy County Detention Bureau in Bronson, FL.
This case is still under investigation. Detectives believe that other victims may come forward when they learn that Flores has been arrested. Anyone who has information about any crimes commited by Mr. Flores is asked to call Detective Corporal C.J. Perryman at 352-486-5111, extension 240.
