The 73 year-old victim told a deputy, according to the arrest report, that Mr. Troxtell was "drunk again," and while she was asleep in her bed, he'd pushed her, nearly causing her to fall onto the floor, wanting money to buy alcohol. She said that she got up to leave the room, and Troxtell punched her to her chest area, causing her to fall into the corner of the wall, injuring her back. Because Troxtell can become violent if she interacts with him, she told the deputy, she sat down at her desk and began reading a book, and Troxtell came into her room and threw the contents of a bowl filled with ice cubes and water onto her face and then spat on her. The deputy reported that water was puddled on the victim's desk, and her slippers, the nightgown she'd been wearing, her book and a newspaper were all saturated with water, and an empty bowl with water droplets inside it was sitting on the victim's desk. Troxtell told the deputy that he was intoxicated and had been drunk for ten days, and the victim was "going through her thing," which he did not elaborate on, the report stated. He was taken into custody. The report stated that Troxtell commented on the deputy's gun and mentioned his own Sig Sauer hand gun inside the home, then he pulled away from the deputy's grip and struck the deputy's rib right rib area with his elbow, then enroute to the detention facility he threatened the deputy, commenting several times that he was going to hunt him down, but he again declined to explain his comment.
