UPDATED: Joseph Andrew Moore, 60, of Inverness, FL, was charged with burglary with battery, and battery of a person age 65 or older ($27,000 bond). On Dec. 27, the two victims told deputies that they'd dined at an Inverness restaurant on Dec. 24 and returned to the woman's Inverness restaurant where they'd each fallen asleep on a different sofa in the living room. They said they were startled awake, about 10:00 pm, by Mr. Moore entering the home uninvited, telling the woman he'd brought her a ham dinner. Moore allegedly twisted the woman's ankles, stating that she was his woman, and the two victims asked him to leave. They said Moore became aggressive, stating several times that he intended to rape the woman, and he then jumped on top of her, grabbed her breasts and then grabbed the top of her pants, atempting to remove them, but the woman was able to get out from under him. According to the victims, the 74 year-old male victim, who has mobility problems, stood up and demanded that Moore leave the residence, and Moore punched his chest area, which caused the male victim to fall over, and the woman managed to push Moore out of her residence and lock the door. As this occurred, Moore allegedly told the woman he would rape her at a later time. Deputies located Moore at his residence, where he admitted he'd gone to the woman's home, but denied he'd been physical with the victims, according to the report, which also stated that the woman had healing abrasions to her right breast, and the victims' accounts of the incident matched, although they were interviewed separately.

The arrest report stated that Mr. Wall (with a juvenile accompanying him) is accused of entering a woman's Citrus Springs, FL residence, uninvited, shortly after 11:00 pm, Dec. 26, then of going into the woman's purse and breaking her cigarettes, tossing them onto the floor, while making derogatory remarks about her. The woman said that she followed Wall and the juvenile outside, where Mr. Wall pushed her to the ground, and as he left, he kicked a panel of her side door, causing an estimated $500 in damages. A neighbor told deputies that he observed Mr. Wall kicking the woman's door. The report also stated that the woman had dirt and grass to her legs and clothing, and deputies observed the broken cigarettes on the floor. The victim told deputies that Mr. Wall had lived with her previously, but he'd moved out of her home in October, 2021.

UPDATED: Bryan Christopher Otero, 48, of Floral City, FL, was charged with possession of burglary tools, criminal mischief of $200 or less, burglary, and possession of cannabis less than 20 grams ($13,500 bond). The resident contacted deputies, who arrived to find the rear screen door broken, broken glass to the back door of the residence, and Mr. Otero inside the residence. Otero was taken into custody.
