Barry Daniel Lane, 48, of Hernando, FL, was charged with possession of a controlled substance ($2,000 bond).

Phillip James Weigle, 32, of Mourertown, VA, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL  warrant for extortion ($15,000 bond) and aggravated stalking (no bond).

Codey Joe Dollar, 30, of  Homosassa, FL, was arrested on an out of county warrant for violation of misdemeanor probation or community control (no bond).

Jeffrey Scott Brake, 52, of Dunnellon, FL, was arrested on a  Citrus County, FL warrant for 13 counts of knowingly possessing a photo or video, etc., with sexual conduct by a child ($195,000 bond).

Nicole Joy Harrison, 38, of Inverness, FL, was charged with illegal possession of a controlled substance ($2,000 bond).

Lane Michael Kersey, 31, of Inverness, FL, was charged with aggravated battery of a pregnant victim (no bond).

Jessica Lyn Reposa, 41, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge ($2,000 bond).

Joshua James Jones, 27, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with knowingly transmitting child pornography to another person, possession of a photo or video, etc. promoting sexual conduct by a child; and knowingly possessing a photo or video, etc. with sexual conduct by a child ($33,000 bond).

UPDATED: William Estill Skaggs, 53, of Floral City, FL, was charged with making, possessing or placing a destructive device ($5,000 bond) and violation of felony probation or community control (no bond). According to the arrest report, Mr. Skaggs arrived at a Floral City residence and asked for gun powder which a witness provided to him. The witness told deputies that he placed the gun powder and electrical wires into an oval shaped plastic container, about 7 inches in diameter, then wrapped it in electrical tape and placed onto the gas cap of a truck, stating that he wanted to blow up the truck and the house. The witness stated, that when Skaggs realized he could potentially injure another person at the residence, he removed the device from the gas cap, and she believed that the incident was over, but when she returned to the location about 15 to 20 minutes later and heard arguing, she contacted law enforcement. The report stated that Mr. Skaggs told deputies that the witnesses were lying, wanting him to be jailed. The report stated that the 16 oz. can of black superfine rifle powder was less that one quarter full, and inside Mr. Skaggs' room, three devices were located, one a spray bottle attached to an electrical fan, one an explosive device and one a non-explosive device.

Richard Elton Peabody, 60, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for using a firearm while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, etc., and knowingly discharging a firearm in a public place or roadway ($1,500 bond).

Jeremiah J. McCann, 46, of Dunedin, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for using a firearm while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, etc., and knowingly discharging a firearm in a public place or roadway ($1,500 bond).

Christopher Charles Benjamin, 48, of Inverness, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge ($2,000 bond).

Randall Morgan Pepevnik, 31 of Floral City, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for two counts of failure to appear in court on a felony charge (no bond).

Deshane Bronzell Crumity, 21, of St. Petersburg, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for two counts of failure to appear in court on a felony charge (no bond).

Benjamin Zippy Tobiah Gilbert, 21, of Citra, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for violation of felony probation or community control (no bond).

Loren Wyatt Lea, 35, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL, warrant for two counts of failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge (no bond).

Alex Henry Cleaveland, 41, of Floral City, FL, was charged with possession of a controlled substance ($2,000 bond), possession of drug paraphernalia ($1,000 bond), and violation of felony probation or community control (no bond).

UPDATED Gamble Robert Glass, 28, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested on numerous charges, shortly after 1:26 am, when a deputy observed his vehicle pull out of the 7-Eleven gas station (on US 19 at W. Cardinal St.) onto W. Cardinal St., traveling east in the westbound lane to avoid a concrete barrier before veering into the correct lane. The report stated that he turned into the Walmart store parking lot when the deputy activated his emergency sirens, only he did not stop and accelerated toward a second deputy's patrol vehicle and swerved at the last second to avoid a head-on collision. Glass then led deputies on an eight-minute high speed pusuit through a residential neighborhood before coming to a stop in the 5500 block of S. Plantain Pt. in Lecanto, FL, Deputies observed Glass reaching toward the passenger and rear seats, and when he continued reaching around the vehicle after being told to stop, a deputy deployed a canine to assist in stopping him. Deputies learned there was a loaded American Tactical 0.22-caliber handgun under the passenger seat. Inside the vehicle, deputies also located ammunition, 0.47 gram of methamphetamine, a glass smoking pipe and 25 codeine tablets. After being treated at a local hospital for the dog apprehension wounds, Glass was booked into the Citrus County Detention Facility, charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, two counts of illegal possession of a controlled substance, fleeing from a law enforcement officer with lights and sirens activated while speeding and disregarding safety, driving while license knowingly suspended or revoked, a subsequent offense with previous convictions; resisting an officer without violence, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($26,000 bond). He was also charged with violation of felony probation or community control (unstated bond). The report stated that Glass has numerous felony convictions, the most recent being Nov. 10, 2021, and he's been convicted of five driver's license offenses since his driver's license was revoked on July 31, 2013. 

Matthew Scott Varvarinecz, 47, of Beverly Hills, FL, was charged with violation of felony probation or community control (no bond).

William Anthony Hout, 38, of Crystal River, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge ($2,000 bond).

Corey Edward Brooks, 36, of Dunnellon, FL, was charged with felony domestic battery by strangulation (no bond).

Kelly Jean Costello, 44, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with domestic battery (no bond).

Xavier Dixon, 21, of Tallahassee, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for violation of felony probation or community control (no bond).

Travis James Damron, 29, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with retail petit theft or $100 or less ($500 bond).

Mary Jacqueline Wright, 59, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with retail petit theft of more than $100 but less than $750 ($1,000 bond). She was also arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for
violation of misdemeanor probation or community control ($455 bond).

Luis Raul Diaz, 72, of Dunnellon, FL, was charged with battery (no bond).

Kenneth Lee Gholson, 32, of New Port Richey, FL, was charged with felony petit theft (due to two or more theft convictions), resisting a law enforcement officer or merchant during or after a theft, possession of cannabis less than 20 grams, and illegal possession of a controlled substance ($10,000).
 
Renee Jean Ruiz, 52, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while license knowingly suspended or revoked, second offense ($2,000 bond).

William Christopher Wood, 40, of Lecanto, FL, was charged with removing, destroying, altering, tampering with, or damaging the operation of an electronic monitoring device ($5,000 bond), grand theft of $750 or more but less than $5,000 ($2,000 bond), and felony domestic battery by strangulation (no bond).
