On July 26, at 2:07 pm, Sonja Ellen Miller, 64, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland Police Department, charged with shoplifting - petit theft from a merchant, second offense. Her bond was set at none.
On July 25, at 7:30 am, Robert Charles Richardson, 31, of Tallahassee, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, charged with sexual assault - sexual battery of a 16 year-old victim. According to the arrest affidavit, Mr. Richardson and the girl were at a Bronson residence where people were drinking heavily, and both spent the night at the residence. During the night, Richardson is accused of twice having sexual relations with the girl, who left the home during the night and called her mother at 2:53 am and again at 3:00 am. The report stated that the girl's parents picked up the girl and contacted authorities.
On July 23, at 9:30 pm, Dalton Gray Younger, 21, of Ocala, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, charged with probation violation (no bond).
On July 22, at 4:25 pm, Carolyn L. Howell, 67, of Morriston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, charged with battery. Her bond was set at release on her own recognizance.
On July 21, at 12:22 am, Kathy Allen Walker, 52, of Gulf Port, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland Police Department, charged with cruelty toward a child (aggravated child abuse), and resisting or obstructing an officer without violence. Her bond was set at $31,000.
On July 20, at 1:51 am, Vincent Quinn, 32, of Florida, was arrested by the Cedar Key Police Department, charged with loitering or prowling. His bond was set at $10,000.
