Two arrested as result of Williston, FL drug investigation search warrant

Levy County, Florida - Two men were arrested on Wednesday afternoon, August 25, when the Levy County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force executed a drug search warrant at the 12331 NE 64th Place, Williston, Florida residence of 54 year-old Brian Keith Gruhler. Mr. Gruhler was arrested, along with Samuel White, 39, of Palatka, Florida, who was at the residence at the time of the search.

Gruhler became the subject of the Drug Task Force investigation, several months back, when anonymous tips started pouring into the LCSO about his drug activity. These tips and other information led to the search warrant being served.

During the search, detectives seized 23.5 grams of methamphetamine, 1.4 grams of fentanyl and 15 grams of illegally possessed marijuana.

Gruhler was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of heroin with intent to sell, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug equipment, and keeping a residence or vehicle for the purpose of selling drugs, with his bond set at $206,000.

Mr. White was charged with possession of a controlled substance (Suboxone, which is a conbination of buprenorphine and naloxone) and possession of drug paraphernalia, with his bond set at $26,000.
