UPDATED ALERT - FOUND SAFE!

Homosassa, Florida - James Taylor of Homosassa has been located and is safe, according to the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, late Friday Morning, June 13. Mr. Taylor was located in a wooded area near the intersection of S. Nova Ter. and S. York Way in Homosassa. Mr. Taylor had last been seen about 8:00 pm, June 8.

Citrus County Florida - On Wednesday, June 9, James Taylor was reported to the Citrus County Sheriff's Office as a missing endangered adult. James is an 82-year-old white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with an average build, grey hair and brown eyes, who suffers from dementia.

He was last seen on on Tuesday evening, June 8, around 8:00 pm, at the Dollar General store located in the Sugarmill Woods area of Homosassa, near the intersection of U.S. Highway 19 (S. Suncoast Blvd.) and U.S. Highway 98 in homosassa. 

He was wearing a light colored shirt, possibly tan, with tan pants and black shoes. He was also wearaing a dark blue hat with yellow wording that stated, "I'd rather be flying."

James is an 82-year-old white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with grey hair and brown eyes. He was last seen on Tuesday, June 8, around 7:00 pm, walking in Homosassa, wearing blue jeans, slippers, and no shirt.
