Man charged in 5 theft cases re. CHS and Whispering Pines Park

Trifon "Tree" Alexander Robison, 35, of Inverness, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, June 23 and 24, in 5 cases related to the theft of items from two Inverness locations: Citrus High School (CHS), located at 600 W. Highlands Blvd., and Whispering Pines Park, located at 1700 Forest Dr.
The CHS thefts were reported on June 18. Entry was made by removing the locked chain link fence gate from its hinges. Items stolen from a maintenance shed included a 60-inch Toro zero turn mower, 2 Stihl weed eaters, 1 Stihl edger, 2 Stihl back pack blowers, 1 Stihl hedge trimmer, Dewalt drills, and miscellaneous repair parts
A video obtained from Withlacoochee Technical College showed Mr. Robison driving the mower toward E. Heaven St. about 10:10 pm on June 17.
On June 23, two witnesses told deputies that "Tree" brought several items to their residence and asked to store them in the garage. The items included the Toro mower, a Stihl weed eater, a Stihl backpack blower, 2 Dewalt drills, a bucket containing lawn equipment repair parts, and empty candy boxes. In this case, Robison was charged with grand theft of $20,000 or more but less than $100,000; and burglary ($10,000 bond).
Deputies learned that the concession stand had also been broken into. The report stated that the drywall was ripped from the ceiling, there were two additional holes in the drywall, and two light fixtures were severely damaged. Items taken included a chest freezer, a grill, candy, and soda. Robison was charged with grand theft of $750 or more, but less than $5,000; criminal mischief of $1,000 or more, and burglary ($9,000 bond).
The third CHS burglary case occurred on Jan. 31 and was reported to the CCSO on Feb. 3. In this case, items taken included a black and gold EZ-Go electric powered golf cart with alligator leather seats, valued between $2,000 and $3,500. In this case, Mr. Robison was observed by a witness driving the golf cart. He was charged with burglary and grand theft ($7,000 bond).
Robison is accused of stealing 2 first aid kits valued at approximately $107 from the concession stand of Whispering Pines Park, and was charged with burglary ($2,000 bond). In the second Whisperig Pines Park theft case, Robison is accused of stealing food items and candies valued at approximately $146.46, an Apple iPad valued at $499.99, and $150 in cash. He was charged with grand theft of $750 or more, but less than $5,000; and burglary ($7,000 bond).
According to several of the arrest reports, Robison admitted his guilt.
