July 20, 2020
On July 20, at 3:15 pm, Justin Henry Bailey, 26, of Ocala, Florida, who was already incarcerated at the Citrus County Detention Facility, was arrested on a Levy County warrant for failure to appear in court on a charged of misdemeanor operating a vehicle while license suspended, cancelled, or revoked ($2,000 bond).
On July 20, at 1:02 pm, Seth Camdon Peterson, 18, of Hernando, Florida was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office on a warrant for sexual battery of a person older than 12, without consent, and with threat of retaliation ($10,000 bond).
On July 20, at 2:05 pm, Anthony Lee Razzaghi, 30, of Beverly Hills, Florida, who was already incarcerated at the Citrus County Detention Facility, was arrested on a Seminole County, Florida warrant for violation of misdemeanor probation for driving under the influence (no bond).
July 19, 2020
On July 19, at 12:38 pm, April Dawn Cooper, 43, of Inglis, Florida, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia (no bond).
On July 19, at 1:15 am, Andrew Robert Kluth, 27, of Crystal River, Florida, was detained by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
On July 19, at 3:02 pm, Casey Lee Rickel, 33, of Hernando, Florida, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office charged with petit theft with a previous theft conviction, and trespassing on property other than a structure or conveyance ($2,000 bond).
On July 19, at 9:55 pm, Kimberly Ann Trantas, 37, of Inverness, Florida, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with domestic battery (no bond).
July 18, 2020
On July 18, at 1:55 pm, Caitlyn Michelle Boehm, 25, of Homosassa, Florida, was issued a notice to appear in court citation by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with retail petit theft of more than $100, but less than $750, with a mandatory court appearance. Ms. Boehm is accused of concealing 31 items valued at approximately $315.93, on her person or inside her purse at the Lecanto Walmart store. The report stated that the items were recovered.
On July 18, at 8:50 pm, Michael Lynn Caliguire, 62, of Lecanto, Florida, was issued a notice to appear in court citation by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, with a mandatory court appearance. He was charged with retail petit theft of $100 or less. While shopping at the Lecanto Walmart store, Mr. Caliguire is accused of placing a can of A/C Pro synthetic air conditioning recharge, valued at $29.57, inside a Walmart bag that contained an item he'd purchased, then of exiting the store without paying for the can of recharge. He was detained by a store loss prevention officer, and went with him to the instore office, but later fled from the store and was leaving the parking lot in a vehicle when a deputy arrived at the store. Caliguire was arrested during a traffic stop that was conducted on his vehicle at the nearby Wawa store. The deputy reported that Mr. Caliguire complained of shortness of breath and chest pains, but refused to be transported to a hospital when emergency medical services arrived onscene.
On July 18, at 9:26 am, Joshua Brandon Gober, 40, of Dunnellon, Florida, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office on a warrant for violation of parole (no bond).
July 17, 2020
On July 17, at 9:38 pm, Austin Vincent Dye, 21, of Inverness, Florida, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia ($1,000 bond), and violation of probation (no bond).
On July 17, 2020, at 2:31 pm, Ken Curtis Loung, 54, of Homosassa, Florida, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with felony petit theft (due to 2 or more theft convictions). His bond was set at $2,000. The arrest report stated that Mr. Loung entered the Homosassa Walmart store with an empty shopping cart, placed a LG air conditioner (AC) unit from the store's stock inside the cart, then took it to the Customer Service desk and exchanged the AC unit he'd not paid for, for a second AC unit, valued at $252.28. He was detained after he exited the store with the AC unit, the report stated. The report also stated that Mr. Loung has eight previous theft convictions: Feb. 20, 2002, March 5, 2003, June 14, 2004, Oct. 5, 2005, July 22, 2009, March 7 and June 11, 2012, and May 18, 2020.
On July 17, at 6:14 am, Matthew Richard Moralis, 48, of Inverness, Florida, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill (no bond) and false imprisonment ($5,000 bond).
On July 17, at 12:15 am, Matthew Leroy Simmons, 35, of Hernando, Florida, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving while license knowingly suspended or revoked (third offense, plus a conviction), resisting an officer without violence, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with evidence ($14,000 bond).
July 16, 2020
On July 16, at 12:58 pm, Daniel Elias Irizarry Ballagas, 39, of Homosassa, Florida, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with criminal mischief of $200 or more, but less than $1,000 ($1,000 bond).
On July 16, at 11:12 pm, Darryl Wayne Belcher, 45, of Homosassa, Florida, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with violation of felony probation (no bond).
On July 16, at 4:10 pm, William McKinley McMullen, III, 67, of Hernando, Florida, was issued a notice to appear in court citation by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with retail petit theft of $100 or less. While shopping at the Inverness Walmart store, Mr. McMullen is accused of taking a reusable shoping bag from the store and drinking an energy drink while he shopped, then paying for several items, but not the shopping bag or energy drink, valued at $4.29. While inside the loss prevention office, the report stated, Mr. McMullen complained of difficulty breathing, but was medically cleared by emergency medical services, and later claimed he'd fallen off the electric scooter and hit his head. However, the deputy reported, video surveillence showed Mr. McMullen, "Sliding himself to the edge of the seat and then using his hands to slowly brace himself onto the floor." The report stated that Mr. McMullen declined to speak further with the deputy.
On July 16, at 5:34 pm, Bryce Allan Michaux, 21, of Dunnellon, Florida, was arrested at his residence by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, on a Citrus County warrant for violation of felony probation on an original charge of domestic battery by strangulation. He was released on his own recognizance.
On July 16, at 7:49 pm, Michael Aaron Putnam, 29, of Crystal River, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office in the area of Walgreen's pharmacy, located at 310 NE Hwy. 19 in Crystal River, on a Marion County warrant for issuing a worthless check ($150 bond).
On July 16, at 8:57 pm, Christopher Wayne Sala, Jr., 32, of Homosassa, Florida, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($3,000 bond).
July 15, 2020
On July 15, at 8:31 am, Scott Christopher Jutras, 66, of Inverness, Florida, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, on a Citrus County warrant for violation of misdemeanor probation on original charges of possession of marijuana less than 20 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia, with his cash-only bond set at $155.
On July 15, at 4:28 am, Michael James Miller, Sr., 54, of Homosassa, Florida, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, after a deputy observed him riding a bicycle, without a rear light, in the area of S. Bob White Dr. and W. Sasser St. in Homosassa. He was found to have an active writ of bodily attachment for failure to pay child support in the amount of $1,177, and upon his arrest, was found to be in possession of 0.5 gram of crystal methamphetamine. He was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance ($2,000 bond).
On July 15, at 5:39 pm, Catherine Theresa Pendleton, 22, of Dunnellon, Florida, was detained by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with retail petit theft of $100 or less.
On July 15, at 5:43 pm, Cody William Plouffe, 22, of Hernando, Florida, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, on a Sumter County warrant for failure to appear in court on an original charge of fishing without a fishing license ($100 bond).
On July 15, at 2:30 am, Brice Anthony Schwartz, 18, of Crystal River, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with 2 counts of burglary of an unoccupied conveyance ($10,000 bond).
On July 15, at 1:05 am, Lawrence Damon Steinmetz, 29, of Crystal River, Florida, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office in the area between S. Suncoast Blvd. and W. Aquaduct St. in Homosassa, on a Hernando County, Florida warrant for violation of felony probation on an original charge of dealing in stolen property and defrauding a pawn broker (no bond).
On July 15, at 8:05 am, Ivy Kay Stiles-Gillespie, 45, of Beverly Hills, Florida, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with driving while license knowingly suspended or revoked, third offense, with a previous conviction ($2,000 bond). She was arrested during a traffic stop that was initially attempted at Beverly Hills Blvd. and N. Lecanto Hwy. (CR 491) in Beverly Hills, due to the vehicle, a black Honda Pilot, traveling 57 mph in a 40 mph speed zone. The report stated that the deputy activated the patrol vehicle's emergency lights and the driver, Ms. Stiles-Gillespie, made a u-turn, slowed to 30 mph and began to travel south on N. Lecanto Hwy., then turned onto Roosevelt Blvd. and finally stopped at a residence on Michael Dr. The report stated that she had two previous convictions for driving while her license was suspended or revoked, on Jan. 29, 2015, and June 9, 2015.
