On Thursday, July 16, the Levy County Sheriff’s Office announced that is was experiencing issues with with its non-emergency phone lines (AT&T is the service provider).

Citizens reported that calls are not being answered or dropped, and the agency was working with AT&T to resolve the issues, and reassured the public that it is not intentionally ignoring or dropping calls.

No 911 emergency calls were affected, and the public was encouraged to
to continue calling, as all calls were being answered as they came in.
