Citrus County has named Veronica Kampschroer as the new Public Information Officer (PIO) and Communications Manager who began her new position on Monday, January 25, 2021.

Veronica, a 12-year employee of the Citrus County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), began her career at the Citrus County Library System in 2008. In 2016, she transferred to the Visitors & Convention Bureau to act as Industry Relations liaison.
