Tangerine Ln. Crystal River mobile home fire a total loss

At 12:28 pm, July 6, Citrus County Fire Rescue was dispatched to a fire on W. Tangerine Ln. in Crystal River. Firefighters arrived on scene at 12:30 pm to find a single wide mobile home fully involved in fire. A crew from Connell Heights Fire Station conducted a defensive attack. The fire was determined under control at 12:47 pm, and crews cleared the scene at 2:00 pm. The home was not occupied at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported. The American Red Cross was contacted to assist the residents. Other fire stations that assisted with the fire included Homosassa, Hernando, and Kensington.
