State agencies, FHP, FWC and FDLE are hosting an employee recruitment event to individuals in and around the Tampa and Orlando, Florida areas on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday, December 9, 2023. from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Florida State Fairgrounds, located at 4800 U.S. Hwy. 301 N. in Tampa, Florida 33610

This event will give applicants the opportunity to speak with recruiters about the exciting careers of being a a law enforcement officer - a Florida State Trooper, Florida Fish and Wildlife Officer, FDLE Agent, as well as civilian job opportunities such as being a dispatcher, biologist, or crime lab technician.

Recruiters and specialty members, such as K9 handlers, motor troopers/officers, drone operators, and FDLE Protection Detail Officers, will be on site to speak about their careers, the application process, life at the academies, available job opportunities, and the role each state agency’s job plays within Florida.
