Tallahassee, Florida - On May 6, 2022, House Bill 7071 was signed into law by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, which includes various sales tax holidays for Florida residents during fiscal years 2022-2024. In addition to the usual sales tax holidays on hurricane supplies and school items prior to the start of hurricane season and the school year, residents will be able to enjoy relief from paying sales tax on other items at specified times: children’s books; concert tickets, movies, ballgames, museum visits and a potion of the cost of canoes or kayaks; Formula One Grand Prix races and the Daytona 500; tools and work equipment, gas, Energy Star appliances, new mobile homes, and impact resistant doors and windows

Back to School - July 25-August 7, 2022 - 2 weeks (school supplies)
Tool Time - September 3-9, 2022 - 1 week (certain tools and work equipment)
Motor Fuel - October 1-31, 2022 - 1 month (state gas tax)

Energy Star Applicanes - July 1, 2022-June 30, 2023 - 1 year (energy efficient appliances)
Children's Diapers - July 1, 2022-June 30, 2023 - 1 year (diapers)
