BEVERLY HILLS
•Bikakis of Beverly Hills, LLC has requested a building permit (2020-06622) to convert a storage area to commercial office space for a second unit behind the Dunkin’ Donuts at 3470 N. Lecanto Highway (CR 491) in Beverly Hills.
CRYSTAL RIVER
•Citrus County Board of County Commissioners has requested a building permit (2020-06767)for a new T-hangar at the Crystal River Airport.
•M.C. Damron Land Company, on behalf of SRS Family Entertainment, has requested a Comprehensive Plan Amendment, Atlas Amendment and Planned Unit Development (CPA/AA/PUD-20-13). The amendment proposes to change the land use to General Commercial with a Master Plan for a new indoor shooting range at 2469 N. Pennsylvania Avenue in Crystal River. The application will be discussed by the Planning and Development Commission on August 20, 2020, before being forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for its consideration.
•Cypress Crossing, LLC has requested a building permit (2020-07393) to complete Building B for medical/professional use at 7020 W. Gulf to Lake Highway (SR 44) in Crystal River.
FLORAL CITY
•DSW Enterprises, LLC has requested a building permit (2020-06948) for a restaurant at the former Sleepy Hollow at 10333 E. Gobbler Drive in Floral City.
•Michael Wilburn, on behalf of Affordable Secure Storage, has requested a Comprehensive Plan Amendment, Atlas Amendment and Planned Unit Development (CPA/AA/PUD-20-15). The amendment proposes to change the land use to General Commercial with a Master Plan for outdoor storage at 8115 E. Harvest Moon Court in Floral City. The application is tentatively scheduled for discussion by the Planning and Development Commission on September 3, 2020, before being forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for its consideration.
HERNANDO
•Michael Wilburn, on behalf of Affordable Secure Storage, has requested a Conditional Use application (CU-20-06) to allow for outdoor and mini-warehouse in the General Commercial District. The site is located at 3532 N. Carl G. Rose Highway (SR 200) in Hernando, and is currently being reviewed by staff before placement on the agenda of the Planning and Development Commission.
•River Oaks Properties, Inc. has requested to remove an existing Planned Unit Development (PUD-20-09) at 6450 N. Carl G. Rose Highway in Hernando. Application PDO-06-03 had been approved in 2006 for up to 350 single-family residential units, and this application proposes to remove that Master Plan to utilize the underlying zoning district of Low Density Residential. The application will be reviewed by the Planning and Development Commission on September 3, 2020, before being forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for its consideration.
•Romulo Toledo has requested a building permit (2020-07971) to rebuild a portion of an existing motel at 2350 N. Florida Avenue (US 41) in Hernando.
HOMOSASSA
•CHW Professional Consultants, on behalf of Mark Berry, has requested a Planned Unit Development (PUD-20-07) for a drive-through restaurant and car wash at 3899 S. Suncoast Blvd. (US 19) in Homosassa. The site is currently developed, and the existing structures will be removed for the new development. The application is tentatively scheduled for discussion by the Planning and Development Commission on September 3, 2020, before being forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for its consideration.
•Citrus County Board of County Commissioners is proposing a Comprehensive Plan Amendment (CPA-20-11) to create a new Future Land Use category called CMU, Cardinal Mixed Use District, in association with the Suncoast Parkway interchange at Cardinal Street in Homosassa. The application will be discussed by the Planning and Development Commission on August 20, 2020, before being forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for its consideration.
•Clark A. Stillwell, on behalf of Loretta Sue Frye and Margaret Betancourt, has requested a Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Atlas Amendment (CPA/AA-20-14) to change approximately 0.6 acre from PSO to MDRMH at 3282 and 3306 S. Regal Lilly Way in Homosassa. The application will be discussed by the Planning and Development Commission on August 20, 2020, before being forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for its consideration.
•Invictus Development has requested an amendment to an existing Planned Unit Development (PUD-20- 08) to amend its existing Master Plan (PUD-18-05) at 7035 W. Cardinal Street in Homosassa. The application was approved in 2018 for senior affordable apartments, and is now being proposed for multi-family apartment use. The application will be reviewed by the Planning and Development Commission on September 3, 2020, before being forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for its consideration.
•Village Cadillac has requested a permit (2020-06989) to construct a new parking lot area at 2431 S. Suncoast Blvd. (US 19) in Homosassa.
•Burger King of Homosassa has requested a building permit (2020-06798) to add a second drive through lane, as well as interior renovations, at 4420 S. Suncoast Blvd (US 19) in Homosassa.
INVERNESS
•Uniquely You has requested a building permit (2020-07032) for an interior remodel for a salon at 3225 E. Thomas Street in Inverness.
