Free mulch now available at Citrus County Landfill

Citrus County's Division of Solid Waste management has just finished processing yard waste into reusable mulch which is now available free of charge to Citrus County residents while supplies last, during regular landfill hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm; and Saturday, 8:00 am-2:30 pm. 

The landfill will load your open-top truck or trailer 9:00-10:00 am, Tuesday-Friday, or 8:00 am-2:00 pm on Saturday, free of charge. If you need a large amount, such as a large dump truck or a tractor trailer load, please call ahead to arrange loading. 

The landfill is located at 230 W. Gulf to Lake Hwy. (State Road 44) in Lecanto; phone 352-527-7670.
