The Citrus County Sheriff's Office is investigating the discovery of a man's body by a passing motorist, early Tuesday morning, July 21, in Beverly Hills, a feet feet off the northbound lanes of W. Pine Ridge Blvd., near N. Amarillo Dr.  

The area was cordoned off for several hours as detectives with the Major Crimes Unit and specialists with the Crime Scene Unit scoured the area for evidence. The Medical Examiner in Leesburg was called to the scene and is assisting with this case.
