Citrus County receives donations from local groups for two programs

Beverly Hills Woman’s Club makes donation to Meals on Wheels Program

On May 27, the Woman’s Club of Beverly Hills, Inc. presented the Citrus County Meals on Wheels Program with a donation of $225 to help provide meals to local seniors in need. Presentations of donations were also made to three other local organizations. The Woman’s Club of Beverly Hills Florida, Inc. is a volunteer service group that assists many local and community organizations. Foundation presents sports supplies to Parks & Recreation

On June 11, the Brandon Paul Memorial Foundation presented Citrus County Parks & Recreation with a donation of sports supplies including soccer balls, footballs, and yard games. The organization, which hosts an annual golf tournament that raises money to provide scholarships to local student athletes, wanted to branch out with their giving. When Parks & Recreation lent tables and chairs to the organization for use at the tournament, they recognized a new opportunity to give back.
