BEVERLY HILLS
Clark Stillwell, on behalf of Tuscany Ranch Partners II, LLC, has requested a Planned Unit Development amendment (PUD-21-06) to change the designation on approximately 42.7 acres in the Beverly Hills Development of Regional Impact. The amendment proposes to remove 42.7 acres designated as Life Care Center, with approx. 14.2 acres changing to Business/Commercial/Office, and 28.5 acres changing to Multi-Family use. The application also proposes to allow assisted living facilities in the multi-family designated areas throughout the development. The application has been tentatively placed on the agenda of the Planning and Development Commission on August 19, 2021, before being forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for ITS consideration at a later date.
Woodfield Corners, LLC, has requested a building permit (2021-06796) for a new real estate office at 3511 N. Lecanto Hwy. (CR 491) in Beverly Hills.
CRYSTAL RIVER
Crystal River Dialysis has requested a building permit (2021-06772) for a modular building to house patient and administrative services while its existing building is remodeled at 7435 W. Gulf to Lake Hwy. (SR 44) in Crystal River.
Golder Associates has requested a permit (2021-07771) to install solar arrays at 12664 W. HCR Limestone Trail in Crystal River. The site was previously approved for this use via application CU-20-03 for Crystal River Solar.
DUNNELLON
Robert and Janet Hilger have requested a Comprehensive Plan Amendment/Atlas Amendment/Planned Unit Development application (CPA/AA/PUD-21-09) for a new condo development at 12433 N. Water Way in Dunnellon. The site, titled “The Confluence,” proposes to change the land use on multiple lots from General Commercial (GNC) to High Density Residential (HDR) and add a Planned Unit Development for 23 condo units on 4 stories with an open deck and boat slips. The application has been tentatively placed on the agenda of the Planning and Development Commission on August 5, 2021, before being forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for its consideration at a later date.
HERNANDO
Clark Stillwell, on behalf of Pruitt Properties, Inc., has requested a Conditional Use (CU-21-10) to allow an assisted living facility on approximately 19 acres in the General Commercial district. The site is located at 555 W. Norvell Bryant Hwy. (CR 486) in Hernando, and proposes 93 beds in a skilled nursing facility and 60 units/beds in an assisted living facility. The application is being reviewed by staff and has been tentatively placed on the agenda of the Planning and Development Commission on September 2, 2021, for consideration.
HOMOSASSA
Beth’s Carwash has requested a site development permit (2021-07296) for a future car wash at 6906 S. Suncoast Blvd. (US 19) in Homosassa.
Cypress Ridge Centers Owners’ Association has requested a building permit (2021- 07094) to separate a building into two units for a chiropractors’ office at 8375 S. Suncoast Blvd. (US 19) in Homosassa.
Fire Fighter, Inc. has requested a building permit (2021-08208) to install firesuppression equipment in the Publix at 3942 S. Suncoast Blvd. in Homosassa.
Chuck Pigeon, on behalf of Whetstone Development Corp., Inc., has requested a Comprehensive Plan Amendment/Atlas Amendment (CPA/AA-21-10) for approximately 16.46 acres to allow a new Recreational Vehicle Park. The site is located at 2558 S. Stonebrook Dr. in Homosassa, and is proposed for 85 RV spaces, an office, and related structures. The application is being reviewed by staff and has been tentatively placed on the agenda of the Planning and Development Commission on August 19, 2021, before being forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for its consideration at a later date.
INVERNESS
J and C Gibson Holdings, LLC has requested a building permit (2021-07968) for a new mini-warehouse building at 924 S. Carob Pt. in Inverness.
LECANTO
Glory Days Restaurant has requested a building permit (2021-07319) for its new site at 3148 W. Norvell Bryant Hwy. (CR 486) in Lecanto. The site plan was previously submitted under application 2021-03269.
Michael Wilburn, on behalf of Philip Bomhoff, has requested a Comprehensive Plan Amendment/Atlas Amendment/Planned Unit Development (CPA/AA/PUD-21-08) for an area that includes the Cavallo Winery at 8121 S. Lecanto Hwy. (CR 491) in Lecanto. The site received approval in 2018 for a restaurant, wine manufacturing, and indoor wedding/event venue. This application proposes to add additional acreage to the site that would change from Agriculture to Neighborhood Commercial on the Future Land Use Map and the Land Development Code Atlas. The master plan is also proposed for amendment to allow a market building, outdoor events, an increase in the restaurant and event seating, and other items. The application has been tentatively placed on the agenda of the Planning and Development Commission on August 19, 2021, before being forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for its consideration at a later date.
Storeright Lecanto I, LLC has requested a site improvement plan (2021-07127) for demolition of the existing Havana House and redevelopment as boat/RV storage. The site is at 1227 S. Lecanto Hwy. (CR 491) in Lecanto.
