Small aircraft lands, inverted, at Crystal River airport; pilot receives minor injuries

Crystal River, Florida - Around 12:15 pm on Wednesday afternoon, March 31, a small aircraft came to rest, inverted, during a landing attempt at the Crystal River Airport in Crystal River, Florida. The sole passenger onboard, the pilot, received minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The damage to the aircraft was substantial; it was a single-engine Cessna 172M Skyhawk, owned by AOM Aircraft LLC of Newark, Delaware, enroute from Orlando, Florida.
