Chiefland woman charged with careless driving after single-vehicle crash
Levy County, Florida - A 65 year-old Chiefland, Florida woman was involved in a single-vehicle traffic crash that occurred in Chiefland on Monday, February 22, at 3:27 pm.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the woman was driving a 1997 Toyota 4 Runner, traveling south on State Road 345, 0.2 mile south of County Road 330 (NW 70th Street), when for unknown reasons, her vehicle traveled off the roadway, into a ditch and became airborne, traveling in a westerly direction until it struck a fence and overturned onto its right side.
The driver, who was not injured, was wearing a seatbelt. She was charged with careless driving.
