Citrus County Florida - On Sunday, February 7, the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) issued a warrant for the arrest of Suellen Marie Bonville, 60, of Inverness, Florida, as the result of a traffic crash that occurred on Thursday, Jan. 28, at 7:55 pm, on U. The warrant is for four counts of felony hit and run, and one count of hit and run with property damage,

Ms. Bonville is accused of being the driver of a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, January 28, that failed to yield right of way to a 2016 Dodge Ram, making a left turn into its path of travel, causing the left front of the Silverado (which is registered to Ms. Bonville) to strike the left rear side of the Dodge Ram. The impact caused the Doge Ram to rotate counter-clockwise and overturn several times before coming to rest on its right side, facing southwest, in the outside lane of U.S. Hwy. 41.

The crash report stated that the driver of the Silverado attempted to flee the scene of the crash, but crashed into a ditch, just west of the inersection where the crash occurred, then exited the vehicle and ran away on foot.

The crash report stated that Ms. Bonville attempted to file a report with the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, after the crash, that her vehicle had been stolen. However, on Feb. 4, Ms. Bonville was identified by two witnesses as the driver of the Silverado who ran away from the crash.

All the passengers of the Dodge Ram were from Homosassa, FL. The 33 year-old driver of the Dodge Ram and a 6 year-old boy were not transported after the crash for medical treatment. However, the driver told troopers, that two days after the crash, she was transported to Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, due to abdominal pain, and she suffered a miscarriage of a 4 to 6-week pregnancy. The 25 year-old passenger of the Dodge Ram was transported to Citrus Memorial Hospital, and two children in the Dodge Ram were airlifted by AirLife 4 Trauma and Critical Care Helicopter Air Ambulance to St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
