A 26 year-old Homosassa man driving a trailer tractor rig on Interstate-10 in Columbia County had a front left tire blow out, while he was traveling west in the right lane, Monday morning, Oct. 25, at 11:05 am. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the tire blow out caused the tractor trailer to travel into the center median and overturn onto its right side, facing southwest. After the crash, both the westbound and eastbound, inside lanes of Interstate 10 were closed for approximately seven hours. The driver received minor injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
