Williston man killed in ATV crash

Williston, Florida - A 44 year-old man from Williston died as the result of an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash that occurred in Williston at 10:30 am, Sunday morning, October 27, 2024 in the area of 2251 NE 120th Avenue.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving a side by side ATV, traveling adjacent to a large depression in the ground, when the right front tire of the ATV slipped into the depression, which caused the ATV to roll into the depression. As the ATV rolled into the drepression, the driver was ejected from the ATV. He was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver was not wearing a helmet or a seatbelt.
