Two drivers dead, one from Homosassa, after crash in Brooksville, FL

Hernando County, Florida -  A two-vehicle traffic crash that occurred n Brooksville, Florida at 11:48 am on Sunday, September 22, 2024, resulted in the death of both drivers. The crash occurred at the intersection on Lake Lindsey Road, at the intersection of Daly Road.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), a Honda Accord sedan, driven by a 22 year-old woman from Brooksville, was traveling south on Daly Road, and at the intersection of Daly Road, entered the path of a Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by a 70 year-old man from Homosassa, Florida that was traveling west on Lake Lindsey Road, which resulted in the motorcycle colliding into the Honda Accord sedan.

Both drivers suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. Neither carried a passenger.
