Weeki Wachee woman receives minor injuries, crashing into tree in Levy County

A 26 year-old woman from Weeki Wachee, Florida received minor injuries as the result of a single-vehicle crash that occurred in Levy County Florida at 4:09 pm on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the woman was driving a 2007 Nissan Murano crossover sport utility vehicle, traveling north on U.S. Highway 19, a half-mile north of State Road 24, when for reasons to be determined, the vehicle traveled off the roadway onto the west shoulder, where the front of the vehicle struck a tree.
The driver, who was wearing a seaatbelt, was transported to UF (University of Florida) Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida.
