Motorcyclist killed and his passenger seriously injured in CR 486, Beverly Hills crash

Citrus County, Florida - The driver of a motorcycle lost his life, and his passenger was seriously injured, in a two-vehicle traffic crash that occurred at 7:31 pm, December 21, 2023, in Beverly Hills, Florida 

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Chevrolet Equinox crossover sport utility vehicle (SUV) was traveling east on County Road 486 (Norvell Bryant Highway), and the Harley Davidson motorcycle was trxaveling west on County Road 486. 
At the intersection of West Pine Ridge Boulevard, the Chevrolet Equinox turned left, into the path of the motorcycle, which resulted in the motorcycle being struck by the Chevrolet Equinox

The motorcyclist, a 50 year-old man from Beverly Hills, suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash. His passenger, a 44 year-old woman, also of Beverly Hills, suffered serious injuries.

The driver of the Chevrolet Equinoz, a 58 year-old woman from Beverly Hills, was not injured in the crash; her passenger, an 83 year-old woman from Beverly Hills, suffered minor injuries.
