Single-vehicle crash in Williston takes the life of High Springs man
An 85 year-old man from High Springs, Florida died as the result of a single vehicle traffic crash that occurred at 6:00 pm, on Monday evening, August 14, 2023, near the Alachua County line in Levy County, Florida.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving a 2023 Chrysler Town and Country minivan, traveling south on CR 241, near 9650 NE 150th Avenue in Williston, Florida, when his vehicle traveled off the roadway onto the west grass shoulder, and then collided with a fence and a large tree.
The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.
