Homosassa, Florida - Northbound US 19 traffic continues to be reduced to single lane traffic (from two lanes) in north Homosassa, just north of S. Jump Court (which becomes S. Stonebrook Drive when traveling east from US 19) due to a void in the roadway that opened Friday evening, July 7, 2023.

Northbound US 19 is shifted to a previously unopened lane, next to the median, to get around the void area, then redirected back to the normal two-lane traffic pattern. Southbound US 19 traffic is unaffected.

Underground repairs were completed on Friday, July 14. Roadway repairs are scheduled for Saturday, July 15, weather permitting.

After the roadway repair is completed, the lane closures are expected to be removed and traffic shifted back to the normal two-lane northbound alignment. Meanwhile, drivers can expect slow traffic, at times, in this area.
