Northbound traffic on US 19 in Homosassa, FL, reduced to one lane through at least July 14

Homosassa, Florida - Northbound US 19 traffic is reduced to single lane traffic (from two lanes) just north of S Jump Court / S Stonebrook Drive due to a void that opened in the roadway on Friday evening, July 7, 2023.
Northbound US 19 has been shifted to a previously unopened lane next to the median, to enable motorists to travel around the void area, then redirected back to the normal two-lane traffic pattern. Southbound US 19 traffic is unaffected.
Repairs are underway. Northbound US 19 is expected to be in this traffic pattern through at least Friday, July 14, 2023, to allow crews to complete the repairs. Drivers can expect slow traffic at times through this area.
