Man, age 69, dies as the result of Floral City, FL, March 5 motorcycle crash
Floral City (Citrus County), Florida - A 69 year-old Floral City man died Sunday evening, March 5, 2023, as the result of a single vehicle motorcycle crash that occurred in Floral City, Florida.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 6:09 pm, the man was driving a motorcycle, traveling west on Withlapopka Drive, approaching Salmon Drive, when he failed to successfully negotiate a curve in the roadway. The motorcycle departed from the roadway, entered the south grass shoulder, and overturned. The rider, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected from the motorcycle and suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
