Archer, FL pedestrian, struck by vehicle, dies at scene of incident
Alachua County, Florida - A 75 year-old man from Archer, Florida died as the result of being struck by a car on February 16, 2023 at 7:15 pm. The incident occurred on State Road 121, at SW 137th Avenue, in Archer, Florida.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 56 year-old woman from Morriston, Florida was driving a sedan, traveling south on State Road 121, and while the vehicle was in motion, it struck the man, who was walking across State Road 121 from SW 137th Avenue.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased, as a result of the accident, on the scene of the incident, by emergency medical services (EMS).
The driver of the sedan, who was wearing a seat belt, received no injuries, according to the FHP.
