Trenton, FL woman killed in single vehicle crash in Newberry, FL
Newberry (Gilchrist County), Florida - A 49 year-old woman from Trenton (Levy County), Florida died as the result of a single-vehicle crash that occurred in Newberry, Florida, early Tuesday morning, November 15, 2022 at 12:30 am.
According to the FHP, the woman was driving a sedan, traveling south on SE 80th Avenue, when for undetermined reasons under investigation, the sedan veered left and exited the roadway, traveled into the tree line on the east side of the roadway, and collided into a tree. The sedan came to rest, facing south, with its front still in contact with the tree.
The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt according to the press release, was pronounced deceased on the scene of the crash.
