Teen girl dies in single vehicle, Chiefland, FL crash
Levy County, Florida - A 17 year-old girl from Old Town, Florida, lost her life as the result of a single-venicle traffic crash that occurred in Chiefland, Florida on Wednesday afternoon, November 9, at 12:29 pm. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the girl was driving a sport utility vehicle, traveling north on County Road 207 (NW 147th Place) at NW 28th Avenue at a high rate of speed, when she lost control of the vehicle, which traveled onto the west (left) grass shoulder, collided with a utility pole, and overturned. The girl received fatal injuries as a result of the crash and was pronounced deceased on the scene of the crash.
