Pedestrian, Beverly Hills man, struck/killed by pickup truck in Homosassa
Homosassa, Florida - A 39 year-old man from Beverly Hills, Florida was struck by a pickup truck in Homosassa and suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the incident that occurred Monday night, Jan 10, at 10:24 pm. According to a press release by the Florida Highway Patrol, the pickup truck was traveling east on W. Grover Cleveland Blvd., approaching Alabama Ave., when the pedestrian walked into its path and was struck by the vehicle. The pickup truck was driven by a 68 year-old man from Lecanto, Florida, who carried a passenger, a 60 year-old man, also of Lecanto. The passengers in the pickup truck were not injured, and each was wearing a seatbelt, according to the press release.
