Morriston man killed, three seriously injured, in April 27, Williston, FL crash
Levy County, Florida - A 39 year-old man from Morriston, Florida was killed and three other people were seriously in a three-vehicle crash that occurred at 1:05 pm, on Tuesday, April 27, on U.S. Hwy. 41 at SE 11th Place, in Williston, Florida.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 39 year-old man was driving a sports utility vehicle ("SUV"), traveling north on U.S. Hwy. 41, and the other two vehicles, a pickup truck and another SUV, were both traveling south on U.S. Hwy. 41. For unknown reasons, the 39 year-old man's vehicle traveled into the southbound lane of U.S. Hwy. 41 and collided with the other two vehicles, first the pickup truck, driven by a 22 year-old woman from Ocala, Florida, then the SUV, that was driven br 76 year-old woman who carried a 30 year-old female passenger, both of Dunallon, Florida.
The 39 year-old man, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from his vehicle and pronounced deceased on the scene of the crash. No names were released due to Marsy's Law, Florida's victim protection law.
