Woman killed during early morning single-vehicle crash in Floral City
UPDATE: ON APRIL 19, 2021, THE FEMALE DRIVER WHO DIED AS THE RESULT OF THE CRASH WAS IDENTIFIED AS A 66 YEAR-OLD FLORAL CITY RESIDENT.
A single-vehicle traffic crash that occurred, early Sunday morning, March 21, took the life of the female driver, whose identnty had not been established at the time of the initial press release. The crash occurred at 5:46 am. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the woman was traveling on E. Bushnell Rd. at Daniels Rd. in Floral City, when the pickup truck departed from the roadway for an unknown reason, collided with a tree on the shoulder and caught fire. The driver suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
