Inverness, Florida - On Monday, August 2, 2021, around 10:00 am, a man robbed the BBVA bank, located at 2875 E. Gulf to Lake Hwy. in Inverness, Florida
The suspect showed the bank teller a silver revolver with a black handle, demanded cash, and then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect was seen getting into a dark colored sedan and traveling east on E. Thomas St. in Inverness.
The armed robbery suspect is identified as a white male or a light skinned black male. His height is estimated to be between 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a brown wig, gray sweater and oversized black sunglasses.
