Forum for Yankeetown Election will be Feb. 20th

The YT Election is February 23rd at the Lions Club from 7AM to 7PM.  The WGA Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Candidates Forum at the Inglis Community Center on February 20th at 10AM.  Invitations have been sent to your candidates for participation.  
The format is as follows:
    •    Candidates will have 3 minutes for opening statements and closing statements. 
    •    Residents submit written questions which are compiled to determine duplicates and common threads.
    •    The question will be asked by the moderator.  There will be no direct interaction with candidates and the public other than to answer the question.
    •    Questions can be directed to an individual candidate or all candidates depending on the request.  
    •    Candidates will have 3 minutes to answer questions which will be timed.
We maintain a responsible and respectful exchange at the forum.  If there are issues, the person or persons will be asked to leave.
