SWFWMD draft water plan available for online comment through July 15

    The Southwest Florida Water Management District’s (district) draft 2020 Regional Water Supply Plan (RWSP) is available for review and comment on the district’s website - swfwmd.state.fl.us/resources/plans-reports/rwsp - through July 15.
    The plan identifies existing and projected water demands across all water use categories, available potential water sources, and projects and funding sources to meet those demands within the district’s four planning regions (covering all or part of 16 counties in west central Florida, approximately 10,000 square miles) for the next 20 years.
    Two online webinar workshops will be held to provide opportunities to learn more about the draft plan and make comments, which will be taken into consideration and may be included in the final plan. The recommended browser to use is Google Chrome, and during each webinar, you can make your comments by phone at (888) 585-9008 using the conference code 346-054-201.
